I saw Coldplay on Thursday and they were fantastic! I'll recap the show in-depth as best I can, and I'm hoping this will help warm me up for reviewing some albums! Prepare for a text wall! The first opening act was Kitty, Daisy, and Lewis. They covered "Blue Moon of Kentucky," which should give you an idea of their style (swing-ish, bluegrassy). The talented band members switched instruments often; as their name implies, they had three singers (two female and one male). At one point they brought out some random Jamaican guy, and the singer proceded to trade her same harmonica note with his same trumpet note for at least a minute-and-a-half,

It's not often that I post journals... in fact, wow, this is only my second. But I just wanted to let everyone know I'll be away for a little while. :( I promise I'll be back, and I promise it will be very soon! Sooner than you think, perhaps... I can assure you of that. I'll only be away a little bit. A few days at the least, a month at the most. But expect the unexpected! I have something special in mind that I'm working on... a project of sorts. It's probably not quite what you think it is, hehe. But it's a secret! It kind of reminds me of something... It's no big deal, it's just... I have to go away and... and dream it all up again. .

Well, I promised myself and plenty of others I would write a journal, hehe. I know it's a mess, and the tone of it probably makes it sound like I have a much more wildly-flailing train of thought than I really do, hehe, but at least I'm getting this out of the way. I promise my next journal will be more focused. The tone of it didn't come across the way I wanted it to, so I have to rely on Mr. Anxious (see above) to help me. I have plenty of things I want to write about, to be honest- that's not the problem. The problem is getting started... and getting inspired. And, uh... maybe being too shy. But only a little!
